HCMC – Vietnam’s airports accommodated 109 million passengers in 2024, achieving 96% of the annual target and generating VND21,466 billion in revenue for the Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV).
International passenger traffic reached 41 million, a 26% increase, while domestic passengers totaled 68 million, a 15% decrease compared to 2023. The total number of flights operated was 663,000, down 7% year-on-year.
In 2024, ACV gained revenue of VND21,466 billion, up by 8% compared to the previous year. It also recorded pre-tax profit of VND11,981 billion, a 35% rise from the previous year, contributing VND4,489 billion to the State budget.
For 2025, ACV aims to serve 118.9 million passengers, a projected 7.4% increase. This includes 44 million international passengers, up by 7.2%, and 72.9 million domestic passengers, also up by 7.4%.
ACV has set a revenue target of VND21,782 billion for 2025, with net revenue expected to reach VND20,918 billion, a 6% increase, and financial revenue projected to decline by 50% to VND864 billion. Pre-tax profit is forecast to reach VND10,713 billion.
The corporation plans to launch several key projects in 2025 to upgrade and expand its airport system nationwide. Major projects include the completion of Tan Son Nhat Terminal T3, the Noi Bai Terminal T2 expansion, and the commencement of new terminals at Cat Bi, Ca Mau, and Dong Hoi airports.
