HCMC – The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has approved a project to develop an irrigation reservoir worth VND1 trillion in the Central Highlands province of Dak Nong, said a local official.
The project management board of Dak Nong will serve as the investor of the Dak Giang irrigation project, whose investment will be backed by the central budget and the provincial reciprocal capital, Nguyen Van Nghia, director of the provincial project management board, said on February 21.
The irrigation reservoir, the largest of its kind in Dak Nong, will cover over 234 hectares in Dak Mil and Cu Jut.
The project, slated for completion in 2027, aims to ensure an adequate water supply for farming and daily activities in Dak Mil and Cu Jut.
