HCMC – FPT and Faeger, a Japanese company in carbon-neutral agriculture, have inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on cooperation in research and development of digital transformation services and solutions for businesses in Vietnam’s agricultural sector.
The joint efforts of these two companies are aimed at promoting the integration of technology in the agricultural and forestry domains, curbing greenhouse gas emissions, and facilitating the transition towards sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.
In this partnership, FPT will create and expand the green ecosystem in Vietnam by fostering connections between various organizations, businesses, and local farmers.
The company will offer a range of services, from consultation to the implementation of technology solutions designed to enhance management, reduce emissions, and boost overall efficiency in agricultural and forestry production.
Faeger, on the other hand, will contribute its professional expertise and leverage funding sources from the joint crediting mechanism (JCM) to support Vietnamese organizations and businesses in their efforts to promote green practices and ensure the financial viability of their projects.
The Japanese company will also share insights into planning and effectively utilizing Japanese investment capital for agricultural ventures in Vietnam.
