Hanoi hosts ASEAN Future Forum

HCMC – The ASEAN Future Forum commenced in Hanoi this morning, April 23, with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and nearly 500 high-ranking delegates from the ASEAN region in attendance.

Themed “Toward Rapid and Sustainable Growth of a People-Centered ASEAN Community,” the regional forum is an initiative proposed by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh during the high-ranking ASEAN conference held in September 2023.

The aim is to establish a common platform for ASEAN member nations and their citizens to contribute to the future development of the ASEAN community.

One of the highlights of the ASEAN Future Forum is a dedicated session for businesses, focusing on seizing opportunities for development amidst digital transformation. This session has garnered significant attention from leading businesses in Vietnam and the wider ASEAN region.

The opening session of the forum was co-hosted by Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his counterpart from Laos, with the participation of numerous businesses from Vietnam, the ASEAN region, and beyond.
