HCMC – Le Thanh Trading and Construction Limited Company has held a groundbreaking ceremony for a social housing project in Tan Kien Commune, Binh Chanh District, marking it as the first social housing project of this year to get off the ground in HCMC.
The Le Thanh Tan Kien social housing project consists of four 18-floor blocks and two commercial and service blocks. The project covers about 127,000 square meters of land for residential buildings and 47,000 square meters for commerce and services.
The development is expected to provide 1,445 condo units with a leasing duration of 49 years. Each unit will have an average area of 45 to 50 square meters, aiming to cater to the needs of middle and low-income people.
The project is scheduled for completion and handover to residents in 2026.
