HCMC – A new one-stop public service center aimed at streamlining administrative procedures for residents and businesses in HCMC will be opened on October 1.
Located at 86 Le Thanh Ton, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, the center will operate under the HCMC People’s Committee and have a jurisdiction equivalent to a department.
The center will be responsible for receiving, processing, monitoring and evaluating administrative procedures, providing public services through an integrated one-stop system.
The center’s development will unfold in three phases. The first phase, from October to the end of December 2024, will focus on completing its organizational structure, staffing, facility repairs, equipment setup, and establishing document processing procedures.
In the second phase, from January 1 to December 31, 2025, the center will expand its operations to include a central branch, 22 district-level branches, 18 department reception points, and 312 reception points across communes, wards, and towns.
During the third phase, from January 1, 2026, to the end of 2026, the center will streamline operations by reducing intermediary levels and implementing multi-sector and multi-field reception and delivery of results, eliminating the need to consider administrative boundaries and levels.
