Themed “Cultural heritage with integration and development”, the main week of Hue Festival 2022 kicked off on the June 25 evening with a show in front of Ngu Phung (Five Phoenixes) Pavilion in Hue Imperial Citadel, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The week lasts till June 30 with a series of eight main activities and more than 30 supporting activities.
The week-long Hue Festival 2022 is seen as an event that helps stimulate tourism with the goal of “proactive – sustainable – safe” tourism development.
The opening ceremony’s show acknowledged a beautiful and ancient city of Hue. Moreover, it was an opportunity to honor a green city with sustainable development and to express the ambition to make Hue become a festival city in Asia.
