HCMC – Hyundai Thanh Cong (HTMV) has exported a batch of Hyundai Palisade SUVs to Thailand, marking a milestone for Vietnam’s automotive industry on the international stage.
On October 29, HTMV, a joint venture between TC Group and Hyundai Motor, held a ceremony at Hyundai Thanh Cong Plant No. 1, located in Gian Khau Industrial Park, Ninh Binh Province, to commemorate the shipment.
This is the fourth shipment in October, bringing the total Hyundai Palisade exports to Thailand to 110 units.
This export effort aligns with HTMV’s broader plan to export over 4,000 Hyundai vehicles to regional markets between 2024 and 2025. The Hyundai Palisade, a premium SUV model, has been produced and distributed in Vietnam since September 2023.
Beyond the Palisade, HTMV aims to expand exports of other Hyundai models across various segments, including B, B-SUV, D-SUV, and D-MPV, targeting markets such as Myanmar, the Philippines, Indonesia, and other Southeast Asian nations.
