HCMC – New Zealand Education Day 2023, the largest educational event hosted by the New Zealand Government this year, is scheduled to occur on October 14-15 in HCMC and Hanoi, aiming to empower Vietnamese students in planning their future careers.

This event is jointly organized by Education New Zealand (ENZ), the New Zealand Embassy (Hanoi), and the New Zealand Consulate General (HCMC) in response to the growing interest of Vietnamese parents and students in New Zealand education.

It is expected to bring together more than 30 prominent New Zealand education providers and draw the participation of experts, celebrities, alumni, and parents of students studying in New Zealand.

Participants will gain access to the latest information from the government and educational institutions, particularly study visa policy from Immigration New Zealand. A variety of scholarships for different study levels and special offers for Master’s and PhD students will be available.

Each student will have the opportunity to engage in direct exchanges and receive in-depth counseling regarding their chosen field of study from representatives of 30 different types of educational institutions.

Ben Burrowes, Regional Director (Asia) for ENZ, said, “Through this event, we also hope to offer parents and Vietnamese learners a closer look at New Zealand’s advanced education system – a place that not only provides ideal learning conditions but also allows you to explore new opportunities and personal development.”

Numerous workshops and activities related to subjects of great interest to both parents and students will be conducted, including a workshop titled “How to Invest in Your Child’s Study Abroad?” mini-games, practice tests, and free English language proficiency assessments.

The New Zealand Education Day 2023 is slated for October 14, beginning at 8 a.m. at the Sheraton Hotel, located at 88 Dong Khoi Street, District 1, HCMC. Subsequently, the event will be held on October 15 at the Melia Hanoi Hotel, 44 Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.
