HCMC – Ten trains of the Nhon-Hanoi Station urban railway have passed inspections and will begin commercial service by the end of this month.

Vietnam Register has granted certificates of quality, technical safety, and environmental protection for the 10 trains on this metro line.

This certification marks a crucial milestone, ensuring that the trains have fully met the standards of quality, safety, and environmental requirements, and are ready for operation by the end of June.

The certification process was strictly carried out in alignment with the Law on Railway Transport and Circular 29/2018/TT-BGTVT, which details the inspection of quality, technical safety, and environmental protection of railway vehicles.

Each train can accommodate between 944 and 1,124 people and operate at a commercial speed of 35 kph.

The elevated section of the Nhon-Hanoi Station metro line consists of eight stations, spanning over eight kilometers from Nhon Station in Bac Tu Liem District to Cau Giay Station. After 14 years of construction, the operation of this urban railway line is highly anticipated by Hanoi residents.
