Police raid residences, offices of two Hanoi officials

HCMC – Investigators at the Ministry of Public Security on July 13 raided the houses and offices of two Hanoi officials who were accused of appropriating the State’s secrets under clause 337 of the 2015 Penal Code.

The two accused are Nguyen Anh Ngoc, 46, deputy director of the Editing Department under the Hanoi City People’s Committee Office, and Nguyen Hoang Trung, 37, driver of Hanoi City’s chairman.

Ngoc resides in Bo De Ward, Long Bien District, while Trung lives in Bach Dang Ward, Hai Ba Trung District, according to Tien Phong newspaper.

The third person involved in the case is Pham Quang Dung, 37, an official of the Investigation Department on Economic, Corruption-related Crimes and Smuggling under the Ministry of Public Security.
