Vietnam’s agro-forestry-fishery exports hit new record in Jan-Nov

HCMC – Vietnam’s agro-forestry-fishery export revenue reached an estimated US$64.01 billion in the first 11 months of 2025, up 12.6% year-on-year and surpassing the full-year record of US$62.4 billion set in 2024.

Agricultural exports reached US$34.24 billion, up 15% year-on-year, while livestock products brought in US$567.4 million, a 16.8% increase. Seafood exports rose 13.2% to US$10.38 billion, and forestry products earned US$16.61 billion, up 5.9%.

Meanwhile, November import turnover for agro-forestry-fishery goods was estimated at US$3.92 billion, down 3.2% from the previous month and 2.9% from a year earlier. Total imports for the January–November period were estimated at US$44.45 billion, up 10.1% year-on-year.

The sector posted a trade surplus of US$1.88 billion in November, 4.7% lower month-on-month but 43.3% higher than the same period last year. For the 11-month period, the trade surplus reached an estimated US$19.55 billion, a 19% year-on-year increase.

Key agricultural commodities continued their upward momentum, with coffee, fruits and vegetables, cashew nuts, and pepper all reporting strong export growth. Coffee led the surge with sharp increases in both volume and value, supported by a nearly 40% rise in average export prices amid heightened global demand.
