HCMC – Nestlé Vietnam planned to increase production and diversify the list of export products, especially high-quality ones.

The company’s exports are also expected to continue to grow by double digits in 2023.

Nestlé Vietnam has been striving to expand the production of high-value products like Nescafé Dolce Gusto capsule coffee and freeze-dried coffee, with some produced in Vietnam for the first time.

It is also accelerating research and development activities, as well as diversifying its product portfolio, and exploiting other demanding markets with new products like Maggi soybean sauce, MILO barley drink powder, Nestea lemon flavored tea, Nescafe instant coffee 3in1 in the 2020-2023 period.

Moreover, Nestlé Vietnam develops various products to satisfy the specific requirements of different markets to increase the export value, such as Halal products for Muslim customers or Kosher products for Jewish customers.

The coffee manufacturer previously invested some US$132 million in doubling the production of high-quality coffee in its Tri An Nestlé Factory in 2021 to serve the consumption demand in the domestic and 25 international markets worldwide.

Nestlé Vietnam’s exports increased by approximately 7% in volume but surged by 30% in value in 2022. Currently, the company’s products are exported to over 30 markets worldwide.

Thanks to efforts to increase the value of exports for “Made in Vietnam” products, Nestlé Vietnam made it to the list of “Prestigious Exporters” for two consecutive years in 2020 and 2021.
