HCMC – Techfest Vietnam 2020, the national innovation startup festival co-organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology and other departments and agencies, will kick off at the National Economics University in Hanoi City on November 27, featuring activities to support the development of an innovation startup ecosystem as well as conferences and seminars.
Techfest 2020 will act as a convergent point for local and international entities to advance the startup community amid the hardships caused by Covid-19.
At the three-day event, 200 booths of startups showcasing technology solutions and equipment associated with the health, finance and agriculture sectors are expected to attract over 300 local and international investors via a connection program on online platforms.
The ministry will also cooperate with the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to hold a forum during this year’s edition where Government leaders can meet startups to hear their difficulties on the path of development.
