At the Czech – Vietnamese Business Forum held in Hanoi on April 21, 2023, Vietjet and F Air of the Czech Republic signed a cooperation agreement under the witness of Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his Czech counterpart Petr Fiala.

Accordingly, Vietjet Aviation Academy (VJAA) as a leading international standard training institution under Vietjet will cooperate with F Air to develop basic pilot training programs to train pilots for Vietjet and the regional aviation industry.

Vietjet Vice President Luong The Phuc said: “The agreement with F Air is a part of Vietjet’s plan to develop, expand and train high-quality aviation human resources, especially in pilot training to meet the demands of Vietjet and the aviation industry. Now VJAA has the modern European standard facilities with three flight simulators, cabin training mockups, wave swimming pool, etc., which help it provide training programs for pilots, cabin crews, engineers, mechanics and aviation staff.”

Given a tradition of more than 70 years of cooperation between Vietnam and the Czech Republic, including education and training cooperation, especially aviation training, the agreement between Vietjet and F Air will help Vietjet take the initiative in high quality human resource development to meet the demands of the airline and the industry. It also further widens the path for Vietjet’s cooperation with European partners after the ones with many partners in the United States and Asia Pacific in pilot training recently.
