HCMC – HCMC-based Hoan My Saigon Hospital recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Australian-based Annalise.ai on the research and application of AI in radiology in treatment.
The event was attended by Don Farrell, Australian Minister for Trade and Tourism, Andrew Goledzinowski, Australian Ambassador to Vietnam, and Xavier Simonet, head of Australian Trade and Investment Commission.
The technology is expected to support doctors in making more accurate diagnoses, according to Dr. Dilshaad Ali Bin Abas Ali, CEO of Hoan My Medical Group.
At Hoan My Saigon Hospital, Annalise.ai plans to launch AI-enabled software-as-a-medical device solutions, which allow clinicians to better identify abnormalities, lowering treatment costs and improving patient outcomes.
Dr. Nguyen Huu Tram Em, CEO of Hoan My Saigon Hospital, said the research and application of AI in radiology would help the medical institution enhance diagnostic efficiency and optimize operations.
Annalise.ai has researched and deployed its AI technology in many hospitals and research clinics in Australia, the United Kingdom, the U.S. and some Asian countries.
The partnership allows Annalise.ai to pursue its goal of making healthcare more accessible and equitable for patients, said Dimitry Tran, board director of the firm.
